Stratford Man Charged With Shooting Bridgeport Man In Head
A Stratford man has been charged in the shooting death of a local man on July 4.
Charles Anthony Bonilla, 20, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 14, arrested and charged with the shooting death of Richard McDonald that occurred in Green Homes, in Bridgeport, on July 4, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
Bonilla is alleged to have shot McDonald in the head near the rear of building 4 in Green Homes and fled the scene, Jones said.

ID Released For Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Stamford
Police have released the identity of a 61-year-old woman killed while crossing a Stamford street.
Nancy Flores, of Stratford, was killed at 9:16 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, while crossing at the intersection of Washington Boulevard in Stamford, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth.
According to investigators with the department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad, the incident took place when a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Courtney Sabia, 23, of Stamford, was traveling eastbound on Tresser Boulevard.

Man High On Drugs Crashes Into Storefront In Area, Police Say
A 40-year-old man has been charged with DWI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle in a storefront earlier in the week.
Orange County resident David A. Bergsma, of Wallkill, was arrested for the crash that took place around 11:40 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11, at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on North Road, in Poughkeepsie, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Michael O'Dowd.
When police arrived on the scene, town police found that Bergsma, driving a 2005 Ford F-350 had crashed into a parked box truck and then continued into the West side of the building, O'Dowd said.

Suffolk Man Charged With Assault Of Person Walking In Front Of His Home
A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly attacking a man who was walking in front of his Long Island residence.
Kelvin Euceda, of Greenport, was arrested around 11:49 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, following the attack on Front Street, said the Southold Police.
According to police, the victim, a 35-year-old male, was walking on the sidewalk on Front Street and was attacked by Euceda, police said.
Euceda struck the man several times in the face and head area with a closed fist, causing the victim to have a swollen left eye as well as his front tooth partially dislodged, police said.
