Numerous 911 Calls Lead To Arrest Of Stamford Man For Weapons Possession In Wilton A Stamford man was arrested on weapons possession charges after police received multiple calls of a driver crossing over into oncoming traffic multiple times. Sergio-Antonio Ortega-Diaz, 48, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 9, after Wilton Police responded to numerous 911 calls of a dangerous driver, said the Wilton Police. Person Struck, Killed By Car In Stamford A 61-year-old person was hit and killed while crossing a Stamford street. The Stratford resident was killed around 9:16 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the intersection of Tresser and Washington boulevards, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth. Man Arrested For Assault Following Fight With Elderly Man In Area A Stony Point man was arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with an elderly man causing injuries that required medical attention. Samuel Carter, 35, was arrested around 3:11 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, after Stony Point police responded to a residence on Washburns Lane for a report of a fight in progress, said Stony Point Police Lt. Man Nabbed For Allegedly Plowing Into Pedestrians In Huntington Station A man who plowed into three people while leaving a Huntington Station restaurant and then fled the scene has been arrested. Rupel Portillo-Gonzalez, 30, of East Northport, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and charged with leaving the scene of a crime, said the Suffolk County Police. According to police, Portillo-Gonzalez left the Three Stars restaurant and hit three people and then fled the scene. All of the victims were injured but survived, police said.

Man Charged With Killing His Brother In Bethel Pleads Not Guilty A Bethel man arrested for killing his older brother has pleaded not guilty to murder charges. Matthew J. O'Dell, 40, was arrested on murder charges on Wednesday, Nov. 13, by Bethel Police. The prosecutor said his brother, Richard O'Dell, 42, had been shot four times in the head at close range. Westchester Trio Nabbed In Major Drug Ring Takedown Three Westchester County men have been indicted on charges they operated a complex drug-dealing operation that sent tractor-trailer loads of drugs across the country. Man Accused Of Throwing Large Object At Woman Holding Infant Charged With Assault A 39-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly throwing a large object at a woman holding an infant.
