Greenwich Man Nabbed In Stamford Marriott Stolen Goods Heist A Greenwich man who had been stopped in downtown Stamford for driving on the wrong side of the road led to his arrest two days later for ripping off the equipment shed at a Stamford Marriott hotel. Michael Genovese, 45, was first stopped by Officers Robert Herman and Matthew Pompa on Tuesday, Nov. 5, for driving the wrong way on a one-way street, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. Year-Long Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Area Man For Sex Abuse Of A Child An area man is behind bars after being arrested for the predatory sexual assault of a child after officials received a tip on a hotline call. The Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Robert Youngs, 34, of Circleville on Wednesday, Oct. 30, said the New York State Police. Youngs was arrested after a yearlong investigation stemming from a hotline call to the New York State Central Registry in 2018, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Man Charged With Assault After Incident At Westport Business A man wanted in connection with an October dispute with a woman that turned physical has been arrested by police. Westport Police had a warrant for Robert Bush, 51, of Bridgeport, in connection with a dispute that took place on Sunday, Oct. 13, at a Westport business, said Lt. Anthony Prezioso. Area Man Arrested For Rape Of Child Under 15, Police Say A 20-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged rape of a child under the age of 15 in the area. Lonnie E. Pesano, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 7, by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, said Capt. John Watterson. Pesano was arrested following an investigation by the Sheriff's Office and the Child Advocacy Center, Watterson said. Watterson said there is no threat to public safety. Driver Leaves Scene After Boat Crashes Into Utility Pole In Westchester, Police Say A dump your boat and run crash closed Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley for several hours. The crash took place around 7:48 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, when a boat being towed by a U-Haul box truck broke loose and smashed into a utility pole, said Ardsley Police Lt. Carl Calabrese. Drug Sweep During Concert At Nassau Coliseum Nets 26 Arrests Twenty-six people were arrested during the Dead and Company concert at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale. The multiple arrests took place from Tuesday, Nov. 5 to Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Uniondale at the Coliseum and the surrounding area, said the Nassau County Police.
