Three Nabbed Following Investigation Into Spring Valley Commercial Burglaries Three people were nabbed by Spring Valley and Ramapo police following an investigation into commercial burglaries in Rockland County. Quinten Jackson, 34, Michael Brookins, 36, and Tyree Jackson, 27, all of Spring Valley, were arrested after the department's served a search warrant around 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, on a residence in the village of Spring Valley, said Spring Valley Officer Matthew Galli. A Silver Alert for a missing young mother and her 2-month-old son has been canceled after the two were found safe by Stamford Police. The Silver Alert was issued after the infant, Bramiery Rojas-Guzman and his mother Odalix Martinez-Guzman, 16, were missing for more than a day, said Stamford Police Sgt. Joe Kennedy. Fairfield Man Faces Assault Charge After Incident With Girlfriend At Area Hotel, Police Say A Fairfield man faces an assault charge after allegedly beating up his girlfriend at an area hotel. Michael Ignatowski, 47, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 5, after Milford Police responded to a local hotel for a report of domestic violence, the department said. Once on the scene, police found that Ignatowski allegedly struck his girlfriend several times in the face and head area, police said. Ignatowski was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear ticket.

Man Pinned Under Vehicle Saved By Police In Area A 23-year-old man is alive thanks to the quick work of several area police officers after a car fell on top of him. The accident took place in Orange County at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, when police received a call that Justin Muller was pinned under a vehicle that had fallen while he was working on the vehicle, Town of New Windsor Deputy Chief Michael Farbent said.
