Two Teens Identified As Suspects In Middle School Threats Two teens who met during online gaming have been identified in connection with school threats that caused a massive police response. The Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau identified a 15-year-old teen from the country of Chile as the person who made calls to Felix Festa Middle School in West Nyack on Nov. 21, stating that there was a gunman in the school.  Due to his age and the charges that would stem from this kind of incident, an extradition process cannot be initiated at this time, the department said. Ana Dewitt, 22, of Shelton, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Friday, Dec. 6, for an incident which took place in October, the Greenwich Police said. During the October incident, Greenwich Police responded to a vehicle crash on Pemberwick Road in which she suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. ID Released For Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Parked Car, Tree In Fairfield A man found dead inside a car following a single-vehicle crash in Fairfield County has been identified. Steven J. Conneely, 33, of Fairfield, was found around 1:42 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, after the Fairfield Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting the crash, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. The man, Yy'quess Moore, of Bridgeport, was found shot to death around 6:15 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, after Bridgeport Police responded to a report of shots fired, said Terron Jones, a spokesman for the department. When police arrived on the scene, they found Moore, lying in a driveway on Newfield Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds, said Capt. Brian Fitzgerald. Area Man Charged With DWI After Refusing Chemical Test A 42-year-old man was arrested on DWI charges following a traffic stop. Ulster County resident William Babcock, of Saugerties, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 27, after being stopped by officers at the Quickchek on Route 9W, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said. After being stopped, Babcock allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test, Sinagra said. He was charged with DWI and refusal to take a breath test. During his arraignment at the Town of Saugerties Justice Court, his driver's license was revoked. Babcock was released on his own recognizance.
