Man Calls Police After Being Shot, Drives To Hospital, Bridgeport PD Says A man was shot in the shoulder and then drove himself to the hospital, Bridgeport Police said. Police responded after the man called 911 to report he had been shot in the area of P.T. Barnum and Taylor Drive late Monday, Dec. 9, said Terron Jones, Bridgeport Police spokesman. The man then drove himself to Bridgeport Hospital, Jones said. Police did not find anything in the Taylor Drive area but are investigating. The condition of the man was not known. Woman Charged With DUI Following Crash On Route 7 A 61-year-old area woman was arrested for DUI after allegedly causing a traffic crash. Sheree Loud, of Wilton, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 3, after Wilton Police responded to the scene of the crash on Route 7 (Danbury Road), said the Wilton Police. According to police, Loud was driving a 2018 BMW X1 southbound on Danbury Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto Honey Hill Road and was struck. Stamford Man Charged With DUI After Failing To Drive In Single Lane, Wilton Police Say A 47-year-old area man was arrested for DUI and other charges following a traffic stop for failing to stay in a single lane. Leo LaForce, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Nov 6, after Wilton Police spotted his 2018 Jaguar F-type traveling south on Danbury Road while failing to maintain a single lane, Wilton Police said. During a traffic stop, officers found that LaForce allegedly had slurred speech, glassy and bloodshot eyes, with an odor of alcohol coming from his breath, police said.
