The murder of Clinton Elting, 18, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was discovered on July 22, 1987, when state police found his remains on the roadside brush off Cardinal Road in Hyde Park, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Man Calls Police After Being Shot, Drives To Hospital, Bridgeport PD Says A man was shot in the shoulder and then drove himself to the hospital, Bridgeport Police said. Police responded after the man called 911 to report he had been shot in the area of P.T. Barnum and Taylor Drive late Monday, Dec. 9, said Terron Jones, Bridgeport Police spokesman. Leo LaForce, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Nov 6, after Wilton Police spotted his 2018 Jaguar F-type traveling south on Danbury Road while failing to maintain a single lane, Wilton Police said. Area Man Who Allegedly Shot, Killed Another, Calls To Report Crime, Police Say A 21-year-old area man was found shot to death after the alleged shooter called the police to report the crime. The shooting took place around 1209 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received a 911 call from a person reporting he had shot and killed the victim, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark.
