Stamford Man Accused Of Stealing From Apple Store In Greenwich A Stamford man was nabbed for allegedly stealing two pairs of Apple air pods from the Greenwich Apple store. Spencer Crumbsie, 53, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 26, when police responded to the Apple store on Greenwich Avenue for a report of a theft, said Greenwich Police. Once on the scene, police were told by the store manager, who had reviewed security footage, that Crumbsie had removed the air pods from the shelf and concealed them in his jacket pocket, police said. Police Investigating Death Of Man Found On Side Of Area Roadway Spring Valley police are investigating the death of a man who was found lying on the side of a road. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, when the 59-year-old man, who is believed to be homeless, was found across the street from the Post Office on Madison Avenue, said Spring Valley Officer Matthew Galli. The incident took place around 6:40 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 in Newtown when the dark-colored SUV, possibly a Honda CR-V sideswiped another vehicle while traveling on Nunnawauk Road, said Newtown Police Lt. Monica Maciog, of Monroe, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 26, following a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in Newtown, for having a suspended vehicle registration due to not having insurance, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde.
