ID Released For Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Parked Car, Tree In Fairfield A man found dead inside a car following a single-vehicle crash in Fairfield County has been identified. Steven J. Conneely, 33, of Fairfield, was found around 1:42 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, after the Fairfield Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting the crash, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. According to police, Conneely was found to have crashed into a parked car and then a tree on the property of a home located at the corner of Black Rock Turnpike near Finn Street in Fairfield. Teen Shot, Killed In Bridgeport Neighborhood An 18-year-old was shot and killed in Bridgeport. The man, Yy'quess Moore, of Bridgeport, was found shot to death around 6:15 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, after Bridgeport Police responded to a report of shots fired, said Terron Jones, a spokesman for the department. When police arrived on the scene, they found Moore, lying in a driveway on Newfield Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds, said Capt. Brian Fitzgerald. Area Man Charged With DWI After Refusing Chemical Test A 42-year-old man was arrested on DWI charges following a traffic stop. Ulster County resident William Babcock, of Saugerties, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 27, after being stopped by officers at the Quickchek on Route 9W, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said. After being stopped, Babcock allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test, Sinagra said. He was charged with DWI and refusal to take a breath test. During his arraignment at the Town of Saugerties Justice Court, his driver's license was revoked. Babcock was released on his own recognizance.

Stamford Man Accused Of Stealing From Apple Store In Greenwich A Stamford man was nabbed for allegedly stealing two pairs of Apple air pods from the Greenwich Apple store. Spencer Crumbsie, 53, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 26, when police responded to the Apple store on Greenwich Avenue for a report of a theft, said Greenwich Police. Once on the scene, police were told by the store manager, who had reviewed security footage, that Crumbsie had removed the air pods from the shelf and concealed them in his jacket pocket, police said. Police Investigating Death Of Man Found On Side Of Area Roadway Spring Valley police are investigating the death of a man who was found lying on the side of a road. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, when the 59-year-old man, who is believed to be homeless, was found across the street from the Post Office on Madison Avenue, said Spring Valley Officer Matthew Galli.
