Man Charged With DWI After Allegedly Leaving Scene Of Crash In Area
A 61-year-old man was arrested for alleged DWI after leaving the scene of a traffic crash, according to authorities.
Ulster County resident Arthur W. Caston, of East Kingston, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 11, after the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, responded to a two-vehicle crash on Frank Sottile Boulevard, said Lt. Abram Markiewicz.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found that Caston was driving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata when he allegedly struck a vehicle in front of him that was stopped at a traffic light, Markiewicz said.

Toddler Who Died After Being Struck By Car Was Youngest Of New Canaan Family's Four Children
A funeral will be held for Lucas Richard McGee, 23 months, of New Canaan, who died after being hit by a car in the driveway of his New Canaan home on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Born at Stamford Hospital on Dec. 31, 2017, Lucas was the son of Conner and Kate McGee of New Canaan and the youngest of four children.
The child was hit around 8:42 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the home on North Wilton Road, said New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro.
Known as “Lukey,” he was cherished by all who knew him, said his obituary.

'Impatient' Driver In Wrong Lane Arrested After Hitting Woman In Westchester, Police Say
A driver who was impatient with stalled traffic decided to cross the double yellow lines and drive in the wrong direction to pass has been charged with seriously injuring a woman getting out of a taxi cab in Westchester, police said.
Nelson Velasquez-Flores, 41, of Greenwich, was arrested following the incident around 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, on Neuton Avenue, near the corner of Fairview Avenue, in Port Chester, said Port Chester Police Lt. Charles Nielsen.

Duo Nabbed For Long Island Home Burglary
Two men have been nabbed in connection with a Long Island burglary.
Bryan Alexis Farias Luna, 28, and Isaias Antonio Lienlaf Donoso, both from the country of Chile, were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in connection with a burglary that took place around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at a Melville Lane residence in Saddle Rock, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, an active investigation was being conducted in conjunction with the NYPD regarding burglaries in Nassau County.
