Rockland Man Fatally Shot After Fight In Bar, Police Say A Rockland County man was shot following a fight at a bar in Georgia over the weekend. Wolf Ruben Valmond, 37, of Spring Valley, was shot Sunday, Dec. 15, after getting into a fight at a bar in St. Simons, Georgia, said the Glynn County police. 12-Year-Old Attacked By Bobcat In Backyard Of Fairfield Home, Police Say Police and wildlife officials are on the lookout for a bobcat after a 12-year-old boy was attacked. The attack took place around 7:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 16, in Fairfield in the area of Brett Road, police said. According to Fairfield Police, a caller said that his son was in the backyard of their residence and encountered what he believed to be a bobcat.  The child suffered a minor scratch to a finger and a torn shirt during the encounter. Greenwich Police Officer Dies Suddenly A Greenwich police officer died suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 17, during a medical emergency, the department said. Justin Quagliani, 38, died around 5 a.m., after suffering a medical emergency at his Greenwich residence while off-duty, said the Greenwich Police Department. ID Released For 22-Year-Old Man Killed In Head-On Northern Westchester Crash A man killed in a head-on crash in Northern Westchester has been identified. Diego Trejo, 22, of Pound Ridge, was killed around 9:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, on South Bedford Road, said Bedford Police Lt. Andrew Bellantone. According to Bellantone, a preliminary investigation found that a 2018 BMW 750I traveling eastbound collided head-on with Trejo's 2004 Acura TSX sedan traveling westbound.  Trejo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said. Ice and freezing rains caused crashes across the area which included two that led to closures of two major Northern Westchester roadways on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Route 121 was closed for several hours between Titicus Road and June Road in North Salem due to a car crash with injuries and downed wires. Both lanes reopened at around 11:15 a.m., state police said.
