Steering Wheel Fight Leads To Arrest Of Two In Area
A domestic dispute led to a passenger in a vehicle allegedly grabbing the steering wheel while the car was in motion and a tussle followed.
Jose Navarrette, 48, and Mariah Powell, 20, both of Ansonia, were arrested on Saturday, Dec. 21, by Milford Police in the Walmart parking lot, said the Milford Police.
According to police, during a verbal argument, Powell allegedly grabbed the steering wheel and Navarrette pushed her away.
Both were charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court.
Man Allegedly Allowed Minors To Drink At Large Party In Wilton, Police Say
A 59-year-old man was arrested after allegedly allowing minors to drink during a large party in the area.
Patrick Cropper, 59, of Wilton, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 20, when Wilton Police officers were dispatched to the area of Sturges Ridge Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle, police said.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found that a party was taking place and when they approached the residence, a large group of people were seen running into an adjacent property, Wilton Police said.

Man, 48, Arrested After Allegedly Fleeing From Police, Leading To Chase In Fairfield County
A man was picked up on a warrant for reckless driving after taking police on a chase in Fairfield County.
Christian Prince, 48, of Stamford, was arrested by Stamford Police on a warrant out of Greenwich for an incident that took place on Nov. 30, said the Greenwich Police.
According to police, On Saturday, Nov. 30, around 2:30 a.m., Prince was allegedly driving in an erratic manner in a neighborhood on the west of side of Greenwich when officers attempted to make a traffic stop.

Woman Arrested For Hitting, Biting Person During Domestic Dispute, Police Say
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly hitting and bitting another person during a domestic dispute.
Heather N. Free, of Saugerties, was arrested around 7:50 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, after Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call for a domestic dispute at the Hickory Ridge Apartments, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.
When officers arrived on the scene they found that Free, allegedly while in an intoxicated condition, had thrown the victim’s personal belongings out of their residence, Sinagra said.

Man Nabbed For Alleged Dwai /Drugs Following Traffic Stop In Northern Westchester
A 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after police were notified of an unsafe driver.
Michael Vazquez, of Yorktown, was arrested around 2:40 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18, after he was spotted driving erratically by an off duty officer who reported the incident, the Yorktown Police said.
During the stop on East Main Street, an investigation revealed Vazquez was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
