Con Edison Will Need To Temporarily Interrupt Service During Work In Westchester Con Edison customers in part of Westchester may experience temporary interruptions of service during work on a gas project. The gas project will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 5, and run through March 31, in Hartsdale, said Greenburgh Police Lt. Kobie Powell. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beechwood Road and Maplewood Road in Hartsdale. Customers will be notified before their service is interrupted, he said. Two Injured, Including State Trooper, During Three-Vehicle Long Island Crash A New York State trooper was injured during a three-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened around 8:53 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Suffolk County at Express Drive South and County Road 83, in Medford, said Suffolk County Police. According to police, an unmarked state trooper vehicle, a passenger bus, and another vehicle were involved in a crash. The trooper and another person were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Additional details regarding the crash were not available.

Know Him? Police Seek To ID Man Who Made Large Purchases With Stolen Credit Card Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly made large purchases using a stolen credit card. The card was stolen from a resident in Newtown and used it to buy items and spending more than $5,000, Newtown Police said. The card was used Best Buy, the Apple Store, and Starbucks, all in Danbury, police said. The male is described as being Hispanic, and 50 to 60 years old.
