Duo Accused Of Entering Area Home, Forcibly Stealing Purse From Victim
Two men have been arrested in connection with a home robbery in which they allegedly forcibly stole a purse from a victim.
Christopher R. Arsenault, 32, and Salem E. Welborn, 31, both of Kingston, were arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after Dutchess County Sheriff's deputies responded to an alleged robbery in the Town of Washington, said Sheriff's Capt. John Watterson.
Deputies were alerted to the incident around 9:30 p.m. and responded along with State Police to the home on Route 82.

Hartford-based Jon Schoenhorn was hired on Wednesday, Feb. 5, and immediately filed a motion to have the case moved to the Hartford Judicial District.

Man Charged With Assaulting Woman During Domestic Dispute, Police Say
A 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute.
Gerald Vandrooge, of Milford, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 2, after police responded to Bridgeport Avenue for a report of a domestic dispute, Milford Police said.
An investigation by officers on the scene found that Vandrooge, who is accused of yelling threatening messages at the woman, and that during a physical fight between the two, a knife was involved, police said.
Vandrooge was also allegedly aggressive towards officers while being taken into custody.

Two From Suffolk Charged With Killing Nassau Man In Apparent Road-Rage Attack
Two Suffolk County men have been arrested for gunning down a Plainview man as he arrived home following a traffic dispute in an apparent road-rage incident.
Douglas Coudrey, 22, of Eastport, and Kenneth Regan, 21, of Centereach, were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 6, by Nassau County police for the Jan. 14 murder of Justin Gottlieb, 27, of Plainview, said the Nassau County Police.
Coudrey and Regan were already behind bars for the murder and attempted murder of two men just four days later on Saturday, Jan. 18, following another traffic-related incident in New Jersey.

Former Auto Salesman Arrested For Issuing Fake Insurance Cards In Area
A former employee of an area auto dealership has been arrested for allegedly issuing fake vehicle insurance cars for a fee and keeping the money while working as a salesman.
Harold Butler, 50, of North Haven, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 4, on an active warrant for the scam which took place in August 2019, said the Milford Police.
According to police, on August 20, 2019, Milford Police received a report from Napoli Kia in regards to fraud and larceny after learning that Butler, a salesman, was issuing fake motor vehicle insurance cards for a fee to customers.
