Rare Coyote Sighting Reported On Long Island State park officials believe they have observed a rare Long Island coyote sighting. Video surveillance cameras captured a shot of what officials believe is a coyote at 875-acre Robert Moses State Park, located in southern Suffolk County on Fire Island. The thefts have been reported in the north end, Huntington Road area of town, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
