Fairfield County Woman Nabbed Stealing $125 In Liquor From Store, Police Say A 37-year-old Fairfield County woman was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $125 worth of liquor from an area liquor store. Amanda Belcher, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 25, after Milford Police responded to Wines and More at 242 Boston Post Road, in Milford on the report of a shoplifting, said the Milford Police. Belcher had left the scene but was located a short time later and arrested and charged with larceny, and a number of motor vehicle violations. She was released on a promise to appear ticket.

Two Women Accused Of Stealing $380 In Merchandise From Boscov’s In Milford Two area women were nabbed with $380 worth of goods they allegedly stole from Boscov’s in Milford. Monica Santos, 34, and  Maria Rodriguez, 34, both of Bridgeport, were charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny after being caught on Thursday, Oct. 22, said the Milford Police. The women were arrested after Milford Police responded to the store at 1201 Boston Post Road, on a report of shoplifting.  An investigation led to the arrest of Santos and Rodriguez who were later released on a promise to appear ticket.

Michael J. Moore, 50, of Mahopac, was killed around 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25 on Route 6N, said Yorktown Police.
