Fairfield County Man Accused Of Having Sex With 14-Year-Old A 27-year-old man Fairfield County man who was allegedly caught having sex with a young teen girl has been arrested for sexual assault. Joan Chacua-Diaz, of Norwalk, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 1, for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. According to Zwickler, the department received a sex complaint involving a child on Thursday, Oct. 29 from the mother of the victim. Police Asking For Help Identifying Suspects Involved In Long Island Pub Burglary Police are asking the public’s help to identify and locate the people who burglarized a Long Island bar. The man and woman burglarized Village Pub, located in Farmingville at 830 Horseblock Road, during the overnight hours of Saturday, Sept. 26, said Detective Sgt. Woman Found Wearing No Pants Slashed At Fairfield County Park Police are reporting that a woman was slashed in an area park. The incident took place around 11 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Went Field Park near Railroad Avenue in Bridgeport. When officers arrived on the scene they found the woman had been slashed on her arms and across her neck, said Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport's emergency communications and emergency management office. Appleby said her injuries were non-life-threatening. The woman, who was not wearing pants, declined to provide much information to officers, but it may be someone she knows, he added. Missing Goats Found On Route 59 In Rockland Missing a pair of goats? Yep, goats. The Hudson Valley Humane Society said it retrieved two goats that were out on Halloween, wandering during the day on Route 52 near the Orange and Rockland County Utility building in Spring Valley on Saturday, Oct. 31. Both had collars, but no identification. Anyone with information or the goat's owners are asked to contact the Humane Society via text at 917-701-3870 if you know where they live, thank you. For now, the Humane Society said the goats are safe at their headquarters at 200 Quaker Road in Pomona.

Greenwich Woman Falsely Reported Stolen Credit Card, Police Say A 58-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested after falsely telling police someone had stolen her debit card and taken $200. Robin Schildge-Repdai, 58, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 26, after reporting to police that her debit card had been stolen and a "large amount" of money had been taken from her account, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. An investigation into the incident found that the woman had a man drive her to the bank where she used the card to withdraw the $200, Slusarz said. Duo Nabbed With Drugs Following Fight With Officers On Long Island, Police Say Two men were arrested for drugs and one for attacking and injuring two police officers during a traffic stop associated with a countywide drug operation on Long Island. Jonathan M. Woman Accused Of Stealing Political Sign In Greenwich A woman who has been reportedly been involved in marches in Greenwich was allegedly caught taking a yard sign for a political candidate in the central part of town. Nicole Rincon, 25, was arrested around 11:30 p.m Monday, Oct. 26, at Maple Avenue at East Putnam Avenue, when a police officer saw her take the sign from the area, bending in half and putting it into her vehicle, said Greenwich Police Capt. Man Accused Of Punching Woman In Head In Northern Westchester A 34-year-old man was nabbed for assault after allegedly punching a woman in the head in Northern Westchester. Richard Montero, of Yorktown, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 24, after responding to a domestic call around 2:08 a.m., said Yorktown Police. Kennedy Cousin Michael Skakel Will Not Be Retried For Martha Moxley Murder Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel will not be retired for the death of Martha Moxley in the Belle Haven section of Greenwich in 1975. In a stunning announcement, Connecticut Chief State’s attorney Richard Colangelo said on Friday, Oct. 30, that he would not retry Skakel because he could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
