Man Nabbed With Loaded Handgun, Large Capacity Magazine In Westchester A 21-year-old man was arrested by New York State Police after he found to have allegedly had a loaded handgun and extra loaded magazine in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Westchester. Long Island resident Tyrese N. New Canaan Police Searching For Woman Wanted In Animal Cruelty Case The New Canaan Police Department Animal Control Unit is seeking information regarding the sales of puppies by a Fairfield County woman throughout the country. Police said that Catherine Palmer, aka, Cassie Palmer, aka, Cassie Aris was allegedly making the sales while there was an active warrant for her arrest for animal cruelty, said Lt. Jason Ferraro. Police Asking Public For Help Locating Missing Westchester Man Police are seeking assistance in locating a missing man. Police said Gary Cohen, of Greenburgh, was last seen or heard from on Tuesday, Nov. 24. His clothing description is unknown. Cohen has a history of depression and should be considered endangered, Greenburgh Police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Two-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Home In Stamford A Fairfield County home received extensive damage following a two-alarm fire. Shortly after midnight, on Friday, Dec. 4, Stamford firefighters were alerted to a report of a house fire on Smoke Hill Drive in North Stamford. Due to the location of the fire, fire units from the Long Ridge Fire Department, the Stamford Fire Department, the Turn of River Fire Department, and the Belltown Fire Department responded to the scene, said Deputy Fire Chief Matt Palmer. Cop Injured Following Crash With Driver Who Fell Asleep In Area, Police Say An officer was involved in a crash with a motorist who fell asleep behind the wheel in the area, police said. The crash took place around 7:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 4, in Orange County on Kings Highway near Knapps View Park, the Chester Police Department said. Both the Chester PD officer and the other driver suffered only minor injuries. Covid-19: Fight Breaks Out At Popular LI Bagel Shop Over Customer Not Wearing Mask No one was arrested following a fight at a popular Long Island bagel shop over a customer not wearing a mask. The fight broke out around 8:25 a.m., Friday, Dec. 4, in Bay Shore, at the Bagel Cafe, located at 114 W. Main Street, between two customers regarding wearing a mask, said the Suffolk County Police. One customer suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. There were no arrests and the investigation is continuing.

ID Released After Body Of Teen Found On Long Island Beach Police detectives have identified a body that washed ashore on a Long Island Beach. The body found at Cupsogue County Park around 1:20 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, has been identified as Joseph Rera, 16, of Center Moriches, said the Suffolk County Police. Rera was reported missing while fishing at the location on Friday, Nov. 6, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Man Killed During Single-Vehicle Crash On Long Island One man was killed during a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened around 1:23 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, in Southampton on Noyack Road between Majors Path and Straight Path.
