Two From Fairfield County Killed In Wrong-Way, Head-On Crash
Two young men were killed during a double-fatal wrong-way crash in Fairfield County.
Kyle Jackson, 28, of Stratford, and Tyler Field Stevens, 22, of Shelton, were killed around 2:19 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 6 on Route 25 in Bridgeport, said the Connecticut State Police.
According to police, Jackson was driving southbound on Route 25 in the right lane, while Stevens was traveling in the wrong direction on the roadway (northbound) in the southbound lane at the same time.
The two vehicles collided head-on just south of Exit 3, police said.

Teen Allegedly Ditched Stolen Car In Homeowner's Driveway
An area man was arrested after he left a truck he had allegedly stolen in the driveway of a home and walked away.
Kyle Barone, 18, of Milford, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 30, by the Ansonia Police Department after receiving a suspicious activity complaint, said Lt. Patrick Lynch.
According to Lynch, an Ansonia resident reported an unknown male parked a truck in their driveway then walked away leaving the truck in the driveway.

Report Of Erratic Driver Leads To DWI Charge For Man In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A Dutchess County man was nabbed for DWI after police received reports of an erratic driver.
Joseph Pezzullo, 65, of Hopewell Junction, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 1, by Yorktown Police after officers responded to a call of an erratic driver, said the Yorktown Police.
When officers responded to the area, they located a vehicle matching the one reported in the call. The officer made a traffic stop due to an inoperable headlight, police said.
An investigation found that Pezzullo was allegedly intoxicated and was arrested, police added.

Northern Westchester Man Nabbed Stealing Jewelry From Walmart, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man was arrested for alleged shoplifting after he was located on a city bus.
James P. Lemons, 31, of Ossining, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 30, by New York State Police after they responded to a theft call around 8:30 a.m., at the Walmart on East Main Street, in Cortlandt, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
An investigation determined Lemon stole several pieces of jewelry before fleeing, Hicks said.
Troopers located Lemon on the public bus line and placed him into custody without incident.

Know Her? State Police Seek Public's Help Locating Woman Wanted For Larceny In Area
New York State Police are asking the public for help locating a woman wanted for theft at an area supermarket.
The incident took place on Thursday, Dec. 3, when state police began investigating the theft of goods from the TOPS supermarket on Route 9 in Rhinebeck, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
According to Hicks, at around 6:45 p.m. the woman, described as being 5-feet-10, with brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a black sweater, jeans, and Ugg style boots, stole goods from the store.
