School Bus Driver Dies From Injuries Sustained In Hudson Valley Crash A school bus driver who was critically injured in a crash with a tree truck in October has died. Andy Sanchez, who has worked in Orange County in the Washingtonville School District and drove students from Little Britain Elementary School in New Windsor, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, from his injuries, said Larry Washington, Superintendent of Schools "It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the tragic loss of Andy Sanchez, a Washingtonville school bus driver of nine years," said Washington in a letter to the district. Massive Long Island House Fire Displaces Seven A two-story Long Island home was devasted by a massive fire that ripped through the home quickly. The fire started around 10 .m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the home in Coram in the basement of the home and quickly moved to the second floor, and the attic, officials said. The fire then quickly spread to the first floor, when the second floor collapsed, causing firefighters to leave exit the residence, according to Stringer News. Passed Out Driver Flees Police, Crashes Vehicle In New Canaan, Police Say An erratic driver who fled from police in Fairfield County landed in the hospital following a crash. Covid-19: Feds Sue Airmont For Religious Discrimination Against Orthodox Jewish Residents A federal lawsuit has been filed against the Village of Airmont to "rectify," the village's alleged effort to discriminate against its Orthodox Jewish community. Four Charged With Crack Cocaine Distribution In Northern Westchester Four men have been arrested in connection with running a crack cocaine distribution ring in Northern Westchester County. According to Audrey Strauss, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, the men, Jordan Campbell, Derrick Dickey, Terrance Patterson, and Johnnie Thomas, were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Stamford Man Causes Damage To Girlfriend's Fairfield Home, Holds Police At Bay During Standoff A Fairfield County man was arrested after he was allegedly caught breaking windows at his girlfriend's home during a domestic dispute.
