One Dead, One Severely Injured In Two-Vehicle CT Crash One person was killed and another seriously injured during an early morning two-vehicle crash. The crash took place around 6:27 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Wolcott. Officers responded to the area of 250 County Road for a two-vehicle vehicle crash involving a Honda, occupied by two adults, and a pick-up truck with just the operator, Wolcott Police said. One Wounded In Norwalk During Shots Fired Incident Norwalk police are investigating a shooting in which one person received a minor gunshot wound. The incident took place around 11:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1 on Suncrest Road in Norwalk, said Lt. Jared Zwickler. Arriving officers found one victim with a minor gunshot wound. Barricaded Man Who Threatened Doctor Ends Standoff Inside Long Island Home, Police Say A barricaded, suicidal man who threatened a doctor was rescued inside a Long Island home. The incident took place around 11:17 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, when the department received a call regarding a suicidal subject at a residence in Hampton Bays, said Southampton Town Police Lt. Susan Ralph. The man had made threats against a doctor and threats of suicide, Ralph said. Patrol Officers responded along with members of the Emergency Service Unit and negotiators and at 1:25 p.m. negotiators were able to bring a peaceful resolution to the incident.

Motorcyclist Found Dead On Roadway ID'd Police have identified a motorcyclist found lying in the roadway following a crash. Kevin Parham, 55 of Norwalk, formerly an Ansonia resident, was found around 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, at the intersection of East Main, Main, North Main and State streets in Ansonia, said Ansonia Police Lt.
