The Monroe Fire Department was called to the scene of the fire around 10:24, Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 138 Hattertown Road in Monroe. The fire, which took place around 11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at the Asiana Cafe, located at 68 E. Fire Breaks Out At Long Island Ramada Inn A malfunctioning air conditioner caused a fire at a Ramada Inn on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Ramada Inn at 1000 Sunrise Highway in Baldwin, said the Nassau County Police.
