Man Breaks Into Area Home, Steals Slot Machine With $20,000, Police Say
An area man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a slot machine containing $20,000 in quarters and a shotgun.
Ulster County resident Dominick Sanchez, 20, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police on Wednesday, Dec. 9, for burglary following an investigation into the Thursday, Dec. 3 incident, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
According to Nevel, state police responded to a residence on North Old Greenfield Road in the town of Wawarsing for a report of a burglary.

Missing 12-Year-Old Long Island Girl Found

A 12-year-old Long Island girl who went missing has been found.
Keithy Obando had last been seen in Copaigue early Thursday morning, Dec. 10, said the Suffolk County Police.
On Friday morning, Dec. 11, police announce she has been located.

Police are searching for a missing 12-year-old Long Island girl who has been missing for several hours.
Keithy Obando, of Copaigue, was last seen on Poxio Street, in the hamlet of Copaigue, at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, said the Suffolk County Police.

Undercover Op Leads To Prostitution Arrest At Spa In Fairfield County
Two women were arrested on alleged prostitution charges after police in Fairfield County served a warrant at an area spa.
The two were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 9, by the Norwalk Police following a lengthy undercover investigation taking place at the Sunshine Spa, located at 666 Main Ave., in Norwalk, said Lt. Jared Zwickler.
