Undercover Op Leads To Prostitution Arrest At Spa In Fairfield County
Two women were arrested on alleged prostitution charges after police in Fairfield County served a warrant at an area spa.
The two were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 9, by the Norwalk Police following a lengthy undercover investigation taking place at the Sunshine Spa, located at 666 Main Ave., in Norwalk, said Lt. Jared Zwickler.

Hong Hong Gu, 52, of Flushing who was charged with:
Prostitution
Promoting prostitution
Permitting prostitution
Providing massage without a license
She was held on a $5,000 bond.

Man Walking Into Traffic Nabbed With Loaded Handgun On Long Island
A Long Island man was arrested for alleged possession of a loaded handgun after he was stopped for walking into oncoming traffic.
Eury Pimentel-Torres, 23, of Freeport, was arrested by Nassau County Police around 1:12 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, in Roosevelt, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, plainclothes officers saw Pimentel-Torres cross Nassau Road at the intersection of Taylor Avenue causing oncoming traffic to abruptly stop.
As officers watched, they noticed he appeared to be in possession of a firearm in his pocket.

Community Rallies For Teen Who Tried To Defend Friend In Fatal Northern Westchester Stabbing
A Northern Westchester community is rallying around a local family whose son was stabbed trying to protect his friend who was killed during the attack.
Alex Leon, 18, of Peekskill, was severely injured on Saturday, Nov. 28, attempting to defend and protect his friend Joaquin Salazar who died from his injuries.
Leon, who is the son of Franki Leon, the owner of Franki's Grill in Croton on Hudson, was also stabbed. He underwent four hours of surgery and is currently slowly recovering at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, according to a GoFundMe page.
