Family, Pets Escape Raging House Fire
Seven people, including three children, and several animals were able to escape a house fire in Fairfield County.
The Stratford Fire Department was dispatched to 2037 Broadbridge Ave., around 10:17 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, for a reported structure fire with four adults, three children, one dog, and two cats inside the home, said Robert Daniel Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal.
All of the occupants were able to evacuate the home safely as the department responded with a total of 22 Firefighters, Daniel said.

Missing 12-Year-Old Long Island Girl Found

A 12-year-old Long Island girl who went missing has been found.
Keithy Obando had last been seen in Copaigue early Thursday morning, Dec. 10, said the Suffolk County Police.
On Friday morning, Dec. 11, police announce she has been located.

Police are searching for a missing 12-year-old Long Island girl who has been missing for several hours.
Keithy Obando, of Copaigue, was last seen on Poxio Street, in the hamlet of Copaigue, at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, said the Suffolk County Police.

Man Attacks Officer While Fleeing Scene Of Crash In Trumbull, Police Say
A man was apprehended after he assaulted a police officer before allegedly fleeing from the scene of a motor vehicle crash in Fairfield County and leading police on a search that lasted for several hours.
The incident began Wednesday, Dec. 9, in the evening, when Damien A. Sanchez, 41, of Bridgeport, assaulted an off-duty Trumbull Police officer at an accident scene on Main Street, as he fled, but was eventually apprehended by police a short distance away, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
