Man Tries To Withdraw $25K That Didn't Belong To Him From Chase Bank In Fairfield, Police Say
A man was arrested in Fairfield County after allegedly withdrawing more than $25,000 from a bank account that did not belong to him.
Igor Injomar Corporan, 24, of the Bronx, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 10, when Chase Bank contacted Fairfield Police at 2:42 p.m. to report a man in their branch making several suspicious withdrawals from an account, said Lt. Antonio Granata.
An investigation revealed that Corporan attempted to make four withdrawals on the same day from a Chase Bank account that did not belong to him, Granata said.

Northern Westchester Duo Nabbed For Stealing More Than $30K From Victim, Police Say
Two Northern Westchester men have been arrested for grand larceny in connection with allegedly stealing more than $30,000 by cashing checks stolen from another person.
Yosef Brodsky, 35, and Todd Woodward, 22, both of Yorktown, were arrested on Saturday, Dec. 5, for grand larceny and forgery, said the Yorktown Police.

Long Island Man Accused Of Leaving Scene Of Crash Causing 7-Year-Old's Death
A Long Island man has been indicted for allegedly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash without reporting that resulted in the death of a 7-year-old boy.
Phuoc Truong, a/k/a Philip Truong, 32, of Southampton, was indicted on Thursday, Dec. 10, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy Sini.
“This was an unspeakable tragedy, but we hope that the apprehension and indictment of this defendant bring some solace to the victim’s family,” Sini said.
