She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Celebrity Chef Sandra Lee Moves Out Of Northern Westchester Home She Once Shared With Cuomo Celebrity chef and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo girlfriend Sandra Lee has moved out of the house in Northern Westchester she shared with the governor and his three daughters for years. Three Injured In Long Island Head-On Crash Three Long Island residents were injured during a head-on crash when one of the drivers allegedly crossed over into the other vehicle's lane. The crash took place around 2:27 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, on Flanders Road in Southampton, said Lt. Susan Ralph of the Southampton Police. Responding patrol units found two vehicles involved in a head-on crash and rendered aid to Edward Sorensen, 77, and Gearlyn O’Brien, 57, both of Southampton, and Jamel Mercer, 25, of Riverhead, police said. ID Released For Man Found Dead In Front Of Fairfield County Home A man found dead in front of a home in Fairfield County has been identified. Brandon Goode, 26, of Bridgeport, was found dead around 7:25 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, when Bridgeport Police responded to 242 Harral Ave., for a reported assault, said Scott Appleby, director of the Office of Emergency Management. When officers arrived on the scene they found the 26-year-old man suffering from wounds to his lower extremities, said Bridgeport PD Capt. Brian Fitzgerald. Building Inspector In Dutchess County Arrested For Alleged Bribe Taking, Misconduct, Police Say A 55-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly accepting bribes while serving as a building inspector in Dutchess County. John J. Fenton, of Wappinger, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 11, by state police for allegedly receiving bribes while working as a building inspector, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Redding Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Occupied Parked Car On Main Street In Westport An area man was arrested for DUI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle into a parked car. Max Popovich, age 25, of Redding, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 12, after Westport Police responded to the area of 170 Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident, said Westport Lt. Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured After Hitting Another Truck In Westchester A tractor-trailer driver was injured after hitting another tractor-trailer parked on the side of a stretch of the New York State Thruway in Westchester. The incident took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, in Yonkers, said the New York State Police. According to the state police, the injured driver, who had been extricated, was traveling northbound on I-87 in Yonkers when the vehicle hit another tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder. The driver was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Man Shot Twice In Area Refuses To Cooperate With Police A man who was shot at least twice in the area is refusing to cooperate with police to provide details. The 26-year-old City of Poughkeepsie resident was found around 6:48 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, after the police department received numerous 911 calls reporting shots fired, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. When officers responded to the area of Montgomery Street and Garfield Place they located multiple shell casing, but no victim, Clark said. Man Charged With Dwai After Rollover Rockland Crash A man was arrested for DWI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle in Rockland County. The incident took place on Saturday, Dec. 12, on Summit Park Road when the unidentified man rolled his vehicle, Ramapo Police said. The man was taken to Nyack Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained from the crash. The department was assisted on scene by Spring Hill Ambulance and Town of Ramapo Highway Department.

Worker Injured After Being Trapped Between Two Industrial Lifts On Long Island An industrial worker suffered serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries after becoming trapped between two lifts on Long Island. The incident took place around 11:15 a.m., Monday, Dec. 14, when a 55-year-old man was loading industrial lifts on to a flatbed truck in the parking lot of Sunbelt Rentals, located at 150 Nassau Ave., Islip when he became trapped between two lifts, said the Suffolk County Police. He was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Man Wanted For Sexual Assault, Possession Of Child Porn Turns Himself In To Police A man wanted for the sexual assault of an adult and for possession of child pornography turned himself in to the police. Ames Flatow, 30, of Guilford, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 14, for an October sexual assault in Milford, said the Milford Police. An investigation following the sexual assault also found that Flatow was allegedly in possession of child pornography, police said. Flatow was charged with: Sexual assault Unlawful Restraint Voyeurism Possession of child pornography Flatow was released on $400,000 and appeared in Milford Court on Monday, Dec. 14.
