Woman Killed In Three-Car Northern Westchester Crash Police in Northern Westchester are investigating a three-vehicle crash in which a local woman was killed. The crash took place around 6:05 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28 on Route 202 (Crompond Road) in Yorktown, just west of Garden Lane. The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, a 70-year-old woman from Mohegan Lake died at the scene, said Yorktown Police Lt. John Delulio. Packages Of 30-Plus Victims Found At Accused Westchester Porch Pirate's Home, Police Say A Westchester County man was arrested for allegedly stealing packages off the porches of more than 30 homes. Everett Shaw was arrested after he was caught stealing a package off a porch in Mount Vernon, said News 12. When Mount Vernon police searched Shaw's home, they said they found packages belonging to more than 30 victims.  All of the packages were allegedly stolen over the last few weeks, News 12 said. Shaw is being held at the county jail on numerous charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, and larceny.

Man Found Walking Through CT Neighborhood Allegedly Stabbed Himself, Police Say A man found walking through a Connecticut neighborhood had allegedly stabbed himself. The man was found around 8 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, in New Haven County after the Derby Police Department received a call regarding a man walking on Francis Street with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to his torso, police said. Due to conflicting stories from the victim, a neighborhood canvas was conducted.   Preliminary evidence suggests the wounds were self-inflicted, police said. An ambulance transported the man to Bridgeport Hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition.

Long Island Woman In Critical Condition After Being Hit By SUV In Parking Lot A Long Island woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle while walking in a parking lot. The incident took place around noon on Monday, Dec. 28 in Plainview, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, a 63-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot of 401 South Oyster Bay Road when she was struck by an SUV.  The female was transported to an area hospital with serious head trauma and is currently in critical condition.  The operator of the SUV remained at the scene.  The investigation is ongoing.
