Man Nabbed For House Burglary In Area Years Later By DNA Evidence, Police Say
A 36-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a home and burglarizing it while the family was away.
Donovan W. Price, 36, of Kingston, was arrested by Saugerties Police, on Thursday, Jan. 7, for the incident which took place on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, said Chief Joseph A. Sinagra.

CT Man Sentenced For Narcotics Distribution
A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for distributing narcotics.
Hartford County resident McClendon Jones, age 40, of Bloomfield, was sentenced on Friday, Jan. 8, by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley to the prison time, followed by four years of supervised release, said U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John H. Durham.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2019, Jones sped away from investigators who were conducting a traffic stop in Hartford and his car sideswiped a city transit bus.

Woman Stole More Than $5K From Northern Westchester Macy's, Police Say
A Dutchess County resident was arrested for allegedly shoplifting more than $5,000 in merchandise from a Northern Westchester Macy's.
Nima Simpson, 31, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 28, by Yorktown Police for the incident which took place in August 2020, police said.
An investigation found that Simpson stole $5,503 worth of goods from the store, police said.
Simpson, who was charged with grand larceny, turned herself in to police and was released on her own recognizance.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Feb. 4.
Man Points Gun At Another Driver In Fairfield County Road-Rage Incident, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested for an alleged road rage incident last year in which he pointed a gun at another motorist, police said.
Police arrested Leon Garcia, 55, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 3, on a Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with breach of peace and threatening, after he was involved in a road rage incident where he allegedly pointed a handgun at another motorist in Fairfield, said Lt. Antonio E. Granata.

Woman Stopped In Westchester Following Brief Police Pursuit Charged With DWI
New York State Police arrested a woman in Westchester following a brief pursuit after she was stopped for multiple traffic violations and alleged DWI.
Idalisa Roman, 40, of the Bronx, was arrested around 12:10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 2, after state police attempted to stop her vehicle on I-287 in the town of Harrison, said the state police.
Roman failed to comply, and a brief pursuit ensued. Once the vehicle stopped, it was determined that the driver, Roman was intoxicated, state police said.

A Connecticut man is one of five who have been arrested in a wide-ranging narcotics organization in which officials seized more than $2 million in heroin and fentanyl.

A Long Island man was arrested for allegedly slashing a man multiple times in the face and arm following a confrontation.
Aaron Conrad, 33, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7 for the incident which took place around 5:10 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, in Franklin Square, said the Nassau County Police.
