22-Year-Old Accused Of Damaging Vehicle, Hitting Victim With Rock In Area, Police Say An area man was arrested in connection with a domestic incident in which he allegedly damaged a vehicle and struck the victim with a rock. Orange County resident Colleam Small, age 22, of Middletown, was arrested around 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, when the New York State Police responded to a home in the town of Deerpark for a domestic dispute, said Trooper Steven Nevel. An investigation found that Small caused damage to a 1998 Mercedes Benz and struck the victim in the head with a rock, Nevel said. The victim was able to contact 911 via a cell phone. Patient Accused Of Assaulting Staffer At Hospital In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attacking an area hospital employee and making threats. Brian Dougherty, age 51, of Stamford, was arrested around 3:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, after Greenwich Police Officers responded to Greenwich Hospital, authorities said. Dougherty assaulted a member of the hospital staff and made threats, said Greenwich PD Capt. Mark E. Zuccerella. He was charged with assaulting a public health worker, threatening, and disorderly conduct. Dougherty was held on a $10,000 bond which he was unable to post.

Long Island Contractor Falls Through Skylight While Working On Roof A Long Island contractor working on a roof was injured after falling through a skylight. The incident took place around 3:55 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, in East Patchogue, said the Suffolk County Police. According to police, the contractor fell through a glass skylight over the kitchen at The Mediterranean Manor, located at 303 E. Main St. He fell approximately 12 feet. He was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries.  He suffered possible fractures to his arm and wrist.
