Crowd Assaults Cops Responding To Bonfire With Snowballs, Ice, Other Objects, Police Say
Police in Connecticut were attacked with large chunks of ice, snowballs, and heavy items as they attempted to disperse a large crowd at a bonfire, causing officers to use pepper spray.
The incident took place on Monday, Feb. 15, when East Haven Police officers were dispatched to 113 Bradford Avenue, to assist the East Haven Fire Department with a large crowd burning a large bonfire, said Captain Joseph Murgo.
Dispatch informed responding officers that the crowd was throwing snow and ice balls at Fire Department personnel who were on scene to extinguish the large illegal bonfire, Murgo said.…
CT Target Employee Charged With Voyeurism After Installing Camera In Bathroom, Police Say
A Target employee has been charged with voyeurism with malice after police allege he installed a camera in the bathroom of the store.
Joy Recio, age 40, of Bristol, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 10, in Southington for a complaint filed on Jan. 28 after police officers were dispatched to the Target store, where store security reported an employee found a small motion activated camera in the store's employee bathroom oriented towards a toilet, Southington Police said.

CT Man Admits To Gun Possession, Drug Distribution Charges
A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to drug distribution and firearm possession offenses.
Benjamin Gladstone, age 29, of Hartford, pleaded guilty on Monday, Feb. 8, in connection with a 2019 drug case, said John Durham, U.S. States Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, in April 2019, Hartford Police made two controlled purchases of marijuana from Gladstone at his Collins Street residence.
