Drug Dealer Busted With Cocaine, Large Stash Of Cash In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County alleged drug dealer was busted with more than three ounces of high-grade cocaine and a large amount of cash following an investigation into drug sales in the area.
Edgar Palencia, age 25, of Stamford, was busted by the Stamford Police Department's NARC squad on Tuesday, March 2, after surveilling him for several weeks, said Captain Richard Conklin.

Man Nabbed For Alleged Robbery, Possession Of 'Ghost' Gun In Area, Police Say
An Ulster County man has been arrested for an alleged past robbery and possession of a gun in Dutchess.
Dillon Brown, age 23, of Plattekill, was arrested around 5:25 p.m., by the City of Beacon Police after officers responded to a report of a past robbery involving a firearm, said Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found two men, including Brown who was in possession of a "quantity" of narcotics, as well as a semi-automatic “ghost gun," said Johnson.

Two Long Island Cops Suspended Over Alleged Abuse Captured On Bobycam Video, Police Say
Two police officers from Long Island have been suspended and four others, including a supervisor, have been placed on modified duty after bodycam video shows the two officers pushing and kicking a suspect who took police on a pursuit.
The two Suffolk County officers were suspended for the incident which took place on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in which the suspect, identified as Christopher Cruz, 30, who is undomiciled, fled from officers in a stolen vehicle and hit two police cruisers, said Suffolk County Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart.

Winning $3 Million Lotto Ticket Sold In Westchester
Two winning lottery tickets were sold in Westchester over the weekend, including a Lotto ticket worth $3 million.
The jackpot-winning ticket was sold on Saturday, Feb. 27, at A-Plus, at 71 Huguenot St., in New Rochelle, according to the New York Lottery.
The quick-pick ticket had the winning numbers of 2, 10, 11, 13, 18, 36 plus the bonus number of 43.
So far no one has come forward to claim the large jackpot, officials said.
A second winning lottery ticket worth $54,810 was sold was a Take-5 ticket, also sold in Westchester County, officials said.
