Area College Student Accused Of Rape, Police Suspect More Victims A student has been arrested for the alleged rape on the campus of a college in the Hudson Valley. Anthony S. Pennachio, age 19, of Brooklyn, who attends Mount St. Mary's College in Newburgh, was arrested on Thursday, March 4, after police were called to the college in Newburgh for a reported rape on campus. 1.9 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Connecticut Did you feel it? A minor 1.9-magnitude earthquake struck in the Hartford area at 1:14 a.m., Friday, March 5, or to be more specific about 4.8 miles west in the West Hartford area, said Robert Sanders, a geophysicist with the National Earthquake Center. The depth was 2.2 kilometers. According to Sanders, minor fault lines run throughout the northeast, and earthquakes happen on a weekly basis, but only a few are strong enough to be felt. Dean's List Student Killed In Crash Was HS Football Player In Fairfield County The 22-year-old Fairfield County college student who died in a vehicle crash was a well-known football and rugby player. Brandon Hensel, of Newtown, was killed around 5 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 28 on Toddy Hill Road in Newtown, according to police. Hensel, who was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer, was discovered on a property on Quarry Ridge Road and was transported by Newtown Ambulance to Danbury Hospital where he died on Monday, March 1, said Newtown PD Lieutenant Aaron Bahamonde. One Injured In Separate Northern Westchester Crashes One person was injured after separate crashes in Northern Westchester. The first crash took place around 8:30 a.m., Thursday, March 4, in Briarcliff Manor when a vehicle stopped on Route 9A on the Route 100 overpass causing a second vehicle to hit a guardrail, and then a third car hit the second vehicle, said the Briarcliff Manor Police. Silver Alert Issued For Connecticut Teen Who's Been Missing Four Days Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for four days. Ai’shira Bennett, of Waterbury, was reported missing to Waterbury Police on Wednesday, March 3, and has not been seen since leaving home on Monday, March 1, said Sgt. Robert Davis.
