Suspicious Package Outside Sain Building Turns Out To Be Greeting Cards A suspicious package that was found outside of the Sain Building in New City turned out to a box of greeting cards, said the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. The incident took place around 12:43 p.m., Thursday, at 18 New Hempstead Road, when the box fell off a UPS truck making deliveries, said Chief William Barbera. Man Busted For Numerous Commercial Burglaries In Beacon A man was apprehended in connection with a series of commercial burglaries following an investigation, according to Beacon Police. Michael Stewart, 50, of Niagara, was identified as the suspect in the burglaries and was apprehended without incident on Wednesday, said Lt. Lou Lucato. In addition, Stewart was wanted on two active warrant out of Niagara for violation of his parole, Lucato added.
