She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Troodler Sentencing Scheduled For Next Week Disbarred Ramapo attorney Aaron Troodler will learn whether he will remain a free man or spend time in prison on Tuesday during his sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court. Troodler, who testified against former Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence, helping to send him to prison, is hoping Judge Cathy Seibel will follow the recommendations of the U.S. Probation Office which have recommended probation and a $25,000 fine, according to a sentencing memorandum filed with the court by Troodler's attorneys. Four, Including Two Children, Injured In Carmel Crash Four people, including two children, were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Carmel after one driver lost control of a vehicle on icy roads, according to Putnam County Sheriff Don Smith. Teen Critical After Bus/SUV Crash In Town Of Newburgh An 18-year-old woman involved in a crash between a sports utility vehicle and a bus is in critical condition after being extricated from the SUV, according to the Times Herald-Record. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Thursday in the Town of Newburgh at the intersection of Fostertown Road and New Road when the driver of the SUV either ran the stop sign or failed to yield the right away to the bus, the police told the Times Herald-Record. Icy Conditions On Hudson River Shut Down Ferry Service Icy conditions on the Hudson River have shut down ferry service between Haverstraw an Ossining, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The MTA is suggesting commuters utilize the bus service from Haverstraw to Tarrytown, where they can catch a Metro-North train, said Nancy Gamerman, a spokeswoman with the MTA. Taconic Water Main Break Closes Lane Motorists are warned that a water main break is blocking a lane of the Taconic State Parkway and causing icy road conditions, according to the New York State Police. The break in a pump house has been repaired by the Department of Public Works, but the lane is still closed northbound from Commerce Street to Stevens Avenue in Mount Pleasant, to allow for the excess water to drain, and for the roadway to be salted, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
