Man Nabbed For Prostitution, Drug Charges In Putnam Putnam County Sheriff's deputies nabbed a man for prostitution and drug charges following a traffic stop where he had two young women in the car. Leonardo Martinez, 42, of Elmhurst, was busted following a stop on Friday, Feb. 16,  when members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Bucks Hollow Road in the Mahopac area of the Town of Carmel.  During the stop, deputies determined that Martinez, who was accompanied by two females, 23 and 28, both of Queens, was operating the vehicle without a valid drivers license. …

Greenwich CVS Shoplifter Gets Away With $1,000 In Cosmetics Greenwich police are on the lookout for a woman who stole more than $1,000 in cosmetics from the CVS in Riverside, according to Greenwich Police. The incident took place around 2 p.m. Saturday when officers were called to the CVS for a report of a shoplifter, said Lt. John Slusarz. Store employees told police the woman stole about $1,000 worth of cosmetics before leaving the store, Slusarz said. The shoplifter is described as a white woman, in her 40s or 50s, with a ponytail and glasses, wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.
