Tomkins Cove Woman Charged With Violating Order Of Protection A Tomkins Cove woman was nailed for violating an order of protection by Stony Point Police. Michelle Squillante, 47, was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 14, after violating an active order of protection on Filors Lane in Stony Point, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.  Following an investigation, she was charged with criminal contempt and released on $250 bail. She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 20.

Warwick Teen Pleads Guilty In Anti-Semitic Incident An Orange County teen pleaded guilty Wednesday to tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy as a hate crime, for his part in anti-Semitic graffiti being spray-painted on walls at a Jewish cemetery, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. Area homes have been without power since about 5 a.m. when the tree fell, bringing wires down. Motorist should avoid the area until further notice.

Suspect Nabbed In Late-Night Westchester Stabbing A Yonkers man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in a fight over money, according to Yonkers Police. The attack took place around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, after two men got into a fight over money which escalated into violence, said Sgt. Dean Politopoulos. Police said the victim was found in the vicinity of 1 Hudson St., in the Getty Square area, Politopoulos said. An unidentified suspected was arrested and charged with assault.
