A portion of Route 9D near Castle Point that was closed for more than four hours, has re-opened following a fatal two-car crash in the Town of Fishkill, according to Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt. John Watterson. The crash, which occurred around 9 a.m. Monday claimed one life, Watterson said. Additional information about the crash is expected later Monday, check back to Daily Voice.

Greenwich Man Charged With Making Girlfriend 'Fearful' A Greenwich man was arrested after getting into a fight with his girlfriend and then following, and threatening her, according to Greenwich Police. Christian Dilworth, 23, was charged Saturday with breach of peace, after following the woman, making her feel "alarmed and fearful," police said. He is being held on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

ID Released For Woman Killed In Route 9W Crash The driver of a car involved in a fatal crash Friday on Route 9W in Congers has been identified as a local woman, according to Clarkstown Police. Helen Cifuni, 57, of Congers sustained massive injuries during the crash around 5:20 p.m. Friday in the area of 259 Route 9W, said Clarkstown Police Officer Peter Walker.  Cifuni was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash by paramedics.
