17-Year-Old Hudson Valley Boy Charged In Rape Of Girl, 11 A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl, according to the Spring Valley Police Department. Kevin Guallpa-Lema was arrested after Spring Valley police were contacted by Child Protective Services regarding an 11-year-old girl who was not attending school regularly, said Officer Matthew Galli. A joint investigation found that the girl was the victim of sexual abuse and Guallpa-Lema was arrested, Galli said.  He was charged with rape and sexual abuse. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Father Charged With Beating 5-Month-Old Who's Hospitalized In Westchester A man is behind bars for beating a 5-month-old baby, breaking ribs and causing a skull fracture, according to the Spring Valley Police Department. Jonathan Castillo was arrested after Child Protective Services were notified by officials at Westchester Medical Center that the child had been admitted with serious injuries, Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Gail said.  A joint investigation by the police department and protective services was initiated and ended with the arrest of Castillo, said Gail.  He was charged with assault and criminal contempt and is being held on $500,000 bail.

Rushab Momaya, 23, a 2011 Trumbull High School graduate, stated that he was going to bomb the school but did not include any details in the posting, Trumbull police said.
