Kathy Reaks has worked as a reporter in the local news business since 1984, starting as a news clerk and working her way up. She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Police: Greenwich Man Caught After Breaking Into Vehicles, Stealing Items A 22-year-old Greenwich man is behind bars after being caught breaking into several vehicles and stealing personal items in the Hamilton Avenue area last year, according to Greenwich Police. Dustin Tedesco of Alexander Street was arrested Sunday and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and larceny, said Lt. David Nemecek. That's what happened the other morning when the department was helping another agency capture a wanted person from a home, the Wilton Police K-9 Unit said on Facebook. The wanted person was refusing to come out, so they were told that K-9 Baso would come inside to get them, and then Baso barked a little. The person agreed to come out if the officers held the dog.
