Bartender At Yacht Club Drove Wrong Way On I-95, Police Say The bartender at a Bridgeport yacht club was nabbed by state police for driving drunk in the wrong direction on I-95, causing a crash.Matthew Kennedy, 24, of Stratford, a bartender at Miamogue Yacht Club, was arrested around 2 a.m., April 12, after Connecticut State Police said he drove the wrong way on I-95 southbound near the Exit 25 ramp, crashing into another car. Woman Crashes Into Fairfield County Storefront, Police Say A 73-year-old Monroe woman drove into the front of a store in Century Plaza after confusing the gas and brake pedals, police said. The incident took place around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday when the unidentified woman hit the accelerator instead of the brake when attempting to park in front of the Vision Center at the Plaza, said Monroe Police Capt. Keith White. The woman, who was injured and transported to a hospital, was the only person in the vehicle. The store was closed at the time. Brick along the front of the store, as well as the windows, were heavily damaged during the crash, White said.

Man Nabbed For Sale Of 150 Bags Of Heroin In Putnam A 24-year-old man was nabbed by Putnam County Sheriff's deputies for selling heroin in the area after receiving a tip. Jassell Franco, of New York City, was arrested April 6 by members of the department's Narcotics Enforcement Unit after a deputy was able to arrange for the purchase of 150 bags of heroin, the department said. Franco was nabbed while meeting the deputy in the Applebee's parking lot on Independent Way in the town of Southeast. Man Sexually Abused Two Victims In Wappinger, Sheriff Says A 24-year-old man has been arrested for sexually abusing an adult and a child in the town of Wappinger, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Felix M. Medina Jr., of New York City, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a sexual abuse investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau, said Capt. John Watterson. Greenwich Woman Struck By Vehicle In Serious Condition A Greenwich woman is recovering from serious injuries after being struck by a car while crossing Arcadia Road, according to Greenwich Police. The 59-year-old Greenwich resident was hit around  7:40 p.m. Tuesday as she was crossing Arcadia Road at its intersection with Sound Beach Avenue when the vehicle struck her, knocking her to the ground, said Greenwich Police Lt. Woman Arrested For Valentine Day's Burglary Of Wilton Residence Wilton police nabbed a woman wanted since February for a Valentine Day's home burglary. Jillian Katz, 31, of Manchester, was arrested April 10 on a warrant after being located by Wilton Police, the arrest report said. She was charged with burglary and larceny in connection with the Wilton home burglary and turned over to the state Department of Corrections.

Man Charged With Reckless Driving, Evading Police After Route 33 Crash Wilton police arrested a Fairfield man after he smashed his vehicle into a utility pole, losing a tire and wheel well and continued on his way. Christian Iannucci, 32, was driving his 2015 Subaru Outback on Westport Road when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the pole, the accident report said.  He then continued driving on three wheels and never reported the incident to police. Iannucci was arrested April 10 and charged with reckless driving, evading and failure to maintain proper lane. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 24.
