She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Two Teens In Custody After Chase, Crash Involving Stolen Car In Fairfield Two teens are in custody after taking Fairfield police on a chase and then crashing the stolen vehicle they were driving. The incident took place around 3 a.m. Tuesday after a resident Mill Plain Road called the police to report several suspicious males in dark clothing walking up and down her neighbor’s driveways attempting to enter their cars, said Lt. Teen Nabbed After Slamming Into Car, Taking Off, Wilton Police Say A teen was grabbed for slamming into the rear of another vehicle in Wilton and then leaving the scene of the crash, according to Wilton Police. The incident took place around 12:28 p.m., April 24 at the intersection of Ridgefield Road and Old Ridgefield Road when 19-year-old Aiden Jaecklein of Wilton hit a guardrail in a Chrysler convertible with Florida plates and then slammed into the back of a Toyota already stopped in traffic, said Lt. Theft Reported At Apple Store On Greenwich Avenue The Apple store on Greenwich Avenue was recently robbed of several items including an iWatch, according to Greenwich Police. The theft took place sometime on April 23 but the store notified the Greenwich Police Department on the weekend. According to a police report items stolen include the watch, a light pad block musical device and an iPhone, all worth more than $1,500. Security and police were reviewing store video to try and identify the thief.

Man Stabbed By Co-Worker On Route 59, Police Say Ramapo police arrested a Paterson man after he stabbed a co-worker during an argument at a warehouse in Hillburn. Officers responded to a call for a fight in progress at the warehouse around 1:30 p.m. Monday at 230 Route 59, according to Ramapo Police. Upon their arrival, a 41-year-old employee at the warehouse told officers he had been stabbed by another employee, police said. Officers arrested Ahmed Masha, 20, of Paterson, and charged him with the felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Puppy Chokes To Death On Own Leash In Stamford A puppy choked on his own leash after being left in the car while his owners went to lunch, according to the Stamford Police. The incident took place Saturday on Canal Street when the owner's attached the leash to their puppy, named Piggy, to the rear seat, rolled down the windows, and parked in the shade before going to lunch at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, said Stamford Police Sgt. Officers Hospitalized After State Police Cruiser Collides With Town PD Car An investigation is underway after a crash between a New York State Police cruiser and a Town of Newburgh Police vehicle. The crash occurred around 9:34 p.m. Sunday, on Route 300 in the town of Newburgh, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Science Teacher From White Plains Accused Of Exposing Himself At Library A 60-year-old school teacher in Westchester has been charged with public lewdness after exposing himself to an adult female at Ossining Public Library. The incident took place Thursday evening at the library at 53 Croton Ave, said Ossining Police Chief Kevin Sylvester. Evacuation Order Lifted For Overturned Tanker With Flammable Liquids This story has been updated. A mandatory evacuation has been lifted for the area surrounding Fairfield Avenue in Stamford due to an overturned truck hauling extremely hazardous materials.
