Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department was called to a house fire on Maple Street around 3:30 p.m. Monday and found the house in flames, with no one at home, the department said. ID Released For Fairfield County Man Found Dead On Saugatuck Shores Police have identified a man found dead on the shore of Harbor Road in Saugatuck Shores as a local resident. Gregory Garoffolo, 60, of Westport was found at 8:40 a.m. Friday, when a man jogging contacted police after finding the body along the shoreline in the mud on Harbor Road, said Westport Lt. Jillian Cabana. Investigators learned Garoffolo’s vehicle had been located on the I-95 Saugatuck River overpass during the early morning hours of May 4 and was subsequently towed by state police, said Cabana. Natashia Livingston of the Bronx was arrested Monday on charges of altering a firearm identification and improper storage of a firearm near a minor, police said. Orange County Man Nabbed With Gun, Pot A 21-year-old City of Newburgh man was busted for possession of a handgun and marijuana during a stop by Orange County Sheriff's deputies. Tyshe M. Williams Jr., was stopped shortly after noon on Sunday, on Liberty Street for various traffic violations, said Capt. Paul Arteta. Williams, who was unlicensed, had 94 bags of marijuana tucked inside his jacket and a loaded Ruger handgun in the vehicle, Arteta said. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana and is being held at the Orange County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
