23-Year-Old Middletown Man Killed In Head-On Crash A 23-year-old man died in a head-on crash on late Tuesday night, according to police. According to City of Middletown police, the crash occurred around 11:10 p.m. on West Main Street when the unidentified man lost control of his 1999 Mazda Miata convertible, crossed over into the southbound lane and struck a number of trees and a telephone pole, said the City of Middletown Police. The impact of the crash then caused the Mazda to roll over and a hit a 2014 Chevy Equinox head on, ejecting the Mazda's driver into the roadway, police said. Norwalk Man Busted With Cocaine Clenched In His Fist A Norwalk man was busted with a half-ounce of cocaine after members of the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad received intel he would be in town dropping off drugs. Steven Castro, 28, was arrested Friday night after officers spotted him driving a Nissan Sentra and made a traffic stop, said Capt. Richard Conklin. During the stop, officers uncovered 10 bags of cocaine clenched in his hand and in his shirt pocket and $1,332 in cash, Conklin said. Man Arrested For Stealing Boar's Head Truck After Fight With Co-Worker A man wanted on a warrant for failure to appear ripped off a Boar's Head delivery truck after getting in a fight with the man who was training him. Man Convicted Of Weapons Charges Following Rockland Stop A routine traffic stop in Orangetown by New York State Police could lead to 15 years in prison for a man convicted Monday on weapons possession charges, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe. Tip Leads To Arrest Of Danbury Man For Possession Of Child Porn A 48-year-old man was arrested for possession of child pornography after the Danbury Police Department received a tip, according to the Danbury Police Department. Utility Worker 'Shocked' While Installing Power Line In Hudson Valley A utility worker was shocked today while hooking up a low voltage line to a Hudson Valley home. Rockland Woman Seriously Injured In Route 45 Crash A head-on crash that closed Route 45 for several hours seriously injured a 67-year-old Hillcrest woman.
