Bomb Threat Closes Fairfield Warde High School A Fairfield County high school has been cleared and all activities canceled due to a bomb threat earlier Friday, according to the Fairfield Police Department. According to Lt. Robert Kalamaras the Fairfield Police Department's School Safety Unit received a report of a bomb threat at Fairfield Warde High School.  A preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile, who is currently in custody at police headquarters, fabricated the threat, Kalamaras said. Man Beats, Kidnaps Wife In Jealous Rage, Stamford Police Say A domestic dispute turned horribly wrong after a woman jumped out of a car in an effort to escape her husband who had attacked and forced her into a vehicle, according to Stamford Police. Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said the department was alerted to the situation Thursday after a Fairfield Avenue resident called police about a woman being kidnapped. Shawinsky said the woman was gone when officers arrived at the scene, but the witness told officers he saw two men running and a woman lying in the grass. Vassar Employee Charged More Than $6K On College Credit Card A Vassar College employee was arrested after being caught making illegal purchases of more than $6,000 on a college credit card, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Merlisha Celestin, 34, of Beacon, was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into the use of the card over a six month period, while employed at the college, said Capt. Kevin Faber. She was charged with felony grand larceny and was released on her own recognizance. Celestin is scheduled to appear in court on June 5.

Oncologist Vincent Koh, 73, and his wife and office manager Milly Koh, 64, drew fines of $7,500 and $3,000, for receiving and delivering misbranded drugs, after pleading guilty in November, the Justice Department said.
