Motorist Intentionally Hits Car In Fight Over Woman, Police Say
A Hudson Valley motorist was arrested after intentionally hitting another car in a fight over a woman, according to police in Rockland County.
Jose A. Perez, 47, was arrested Sunday, May 6 and charged with reckless driving, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment following the crash, said Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Hylas.
According to Hylas, when police responded to the crash on Central Highway, they found two men arguing in the roadway, Hylas said.

The shooting death and car crash involving a long-time Rockland County sheriff deputy late last year has been ruled a suicide by the Orange County Medical Examiner's Officer.
Frank Farina, 42, of Stony Point, and his wife, Jennifer Farina, were driving were driving on Long Mountain Parkway in the Town of Woodbury around 1:30 p.m., Nov. 14, when he was shot in the head, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a rock embankment, said state police.

Pair Caught With Over 100 Pieces Of Stolen Mail In Westchester
Police nabbed two men who had stolen or "fished" more than 100 pieces of stolen mail out of a USPS box in Westchester.
The men, Jade Williams, 19, and Sean Michael Dash, 21, both of the Bronx, were arrested around 2:50 a.m. Friday after police observed the two engaging in suspicious activity in of the USPS mailbox, said Tarrytown Police Lt. Greg Budnar.
As the men were attempting to leave the area, officers conducted a traffic stop and during a search, found the more than 100 pieces of stolen mail, Budnar said.
