She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Westport Man Caught With Thousands Of Child Porn Images After receiving a tip from the Connecticut State Police, a Westport man has been arrested for possessing almost 5,000 images of child pornography. New DNA Technology Produces Sketch Of Cold Case Homicide Victim Bridgeport Police Officers released two detailed composite images they believe are of a female murder victim dating back to a 1993 homicide.  The two images were derived from DNA taken from the victim using new technology to create a genealogical profile of the woman found dead on June 5, 1993.  That day, Bridgeport Police discovered a body on a vacant lot at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Railroad Avenue in the south end of Bridgeport. Pair Caught With Over 100 Pieces Of Stolen Mail In Westchester Police nabbed two men who had stolen or "fished" more than 100 pieces of stolen mail out of a USPS box in Westchester. The men, Jade Williams, 19, and Sean Michael Dash, 21, both of the Bronx, were arrested around 2:50 a.m. Friday after police observed the two engaging in suspicious activity in of the USPS mailbox, said Tarrytown Police Lt.
