60-Year-Old Woman Faces Charge After 'Verbally Berating' Victim In Greenwich, Police Say A 60-year-old woman was arrested Monday for disorderly conduct after allegedly verbally berating another person. Valeria Ann Grassi of Greenwich was arrested around 11:51 p.m. Monday when police responded to Quarry Knoll for a report of an altercation, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. When officers arrived, they found that Grassi had verbally berated the victim in a public access area using obscene language, police said. Grassi was given a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28.

The caller, Neil Simon Gross of Mohegan Lake was arrested Thursday by  Yorktown Police after the Gaming Commission received a complaint about games being fixed at the Yorktown Jewish Center, said Lt. Woman Caught With Stolen Debit Card In Hudson Valley A 34-year-old Hudson Valley woman turned herself into police after she was allegedly caught on video using a stolen debit card. Jessica I. Mann of Wappingers Falls turned herself in Monday to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office,  after being caught on security video using a stolen card to withdraw money at a gas station in Port Ewen, said the Sheriff's Office. Mann was charged with the felony grand larceny and issued an appearance ticket to appear in court.

New Canaan Home Burglarized While Family Away On Vacation, Police Say Following a home burglary in New Canaan in which the family was away on vacation, police are asking residents to be sure and secure their residences. The burglary was discovered around 10:51 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at a home on Route 106 (Silvermine Road) when the family returned from vacation and found they had been the target of thieves, said New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.
