Hudson Valley Man Admits To Killing, Dismembering Girlfriend In NYC A Hudson Valley man who walked into a police station and admitted he killed and dismembered his girlfriend four years ago has officers searching for her body parts. On Tuesday, Aug. 28, Ricky Gonzalez, 34, of Beacon, entered the Precinct 1 station house in Manhattan and confessed to stabbing and dismembering a 58-year-old female at some point in 2014, said officers with the New York City Police Department. Man Sentenced For Murder In Botched Hudson Valley Robbery A man who was the mastermind behind a robbery in the area that ended in a murder has been sentenced to more than 27 years to life in prison. Omarrio Morrison, 26, of Newburgh was sentenced Wednesday for his part in the June 2017 murder of 63-year-old Raul Diaz-Martinez of Newburgh during the botched robbery, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. In June, Morrison was found guilty by a jury of murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of tampering with evidence. Hudson Valley Home Health Aide Rips Off Thousands From Client, Police Say An Orange County home health aide was arrested and charged with allegedly ripping off almost $4,000 from a residence where she worked. Brenda Doyle, 64, of Middletown was arrested Wednesday by New Windsor Police following an investigation into two incidents of money being taken from a safe at the home, said Lt. Michael Farbent. Woman Faces DUI, Drug Charges After Rear-Ending Police Cruiser On I-84 A 24-year-old woman is facing DUI and drug charges after rear-ending a Connecticut State Trooper in a crash on I-84. The crash took place around 9:37 p.m. Wednesday when the state trooper was traveling eastbound on I-84 near Farmington behind a construction vehicle with his emergency lights flashing and a vehicle driven by Alexandra Warzecho of Terryville hit the rear of the police cruiser at a high rate of speed, said the state police. Woman Charged With Leaving Scene Of Crash In Greenwich A 43-year-old woman was charged with leaving the scene of a crash after police tracked her down by her vehicle registration. Ruth Dilworth of Greenwich was arrested Sunday after Greenwich Police responded to a vehicle crash on Riverside Avenue, Greenwich police said. Once on scene, police found property damage, and Dilworth's vehicle registration which allowed them to locate her vehicle, police said. Wall Collapse Closes Poughkeepsie Road Crews are on the scene of a wall collapse that has closed a roadway in the City of Poughkeepsie. The concrete wall collapsed around 6 a.m. Thursday at 123 Cottage St., said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson. The building, a commercial structure, is used for storage, he said. No one was injured and building officials are on the scene to determine the safety of the structure, he added. Cottage Street is closed while the road is cleared of debris.

Area Man Watched Porn With 5-Year-Old, Asked Her To Touch Him, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly watching pornography with a 5-year-old girl and then asking her to touch him.
