ID Released For Victim In Fatal Westchester Shooting A 36-year-old man has been identified as the person shot and killed last week in Westchester, according to police. David DeGrace, of Mount Vernon, was named as the victim of the Tuesday, Aug. 28 shooting at 240 7th Ave., in Mount Vernon, said spokeswoman Maria Donovan. Donovan did not offer any details surrounding the murder but did say the investigation continues and no arrests have been made. The person, who was on the tracks, was hit around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday by the train, which was headed north near the intersection of New Main Street and Conger Avenue in Haverstraw, said Christopher Smith, spokesman for CSX. Two Killed In Two-Alarm Hudson Valley House Fire Two people were killed in a two-alarm house fire early Wednesday in the Hudson Valley, according to the New York State Police. The fire, which was reported around 3 a.m. in Monroe in Orange County, was already fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene, officials said. Amazon Truck Slams Into Overpass In Westchester A tractor-trailer slammed into an overpass overnight, backing up traffic for hours on the Bronx River Parkway in Westchester. The tractor-trailer, driving illegally on the parkway, crashed around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound side just north of the Cross County Parkway near the Yonkers-Mount Vernon border, Westchester County Police said. The top of the truck, which was carrying packages for Amazon, was sheared off and packages and debris littered the roadway, shutting down two of three lanes. No injuries were reported.

Company crews are on scene determining what caused the outage that occurred around 7 a.m. on Charter Circle, said Allan Drury, a spokesman for ConEd.  Drury said residents should expect to be without power until later afternoon to early evening, he added. Man Electrocuted While Removing Tree In Hudson Valley A 39-year-old man was killed while removing a tree in the Hudson Valley, according to police. John B. Nuzzolo of Newburgh, who was a sub-contractor for Simply Stump Grinding & Tree Removal, was working about 40-feet above the ground around 9:17 a.m. Monday to remove the tree at 29 Maple Road, said Cornwall-on-Hudson police. Northern Westchester Man Jumps To His Death From Bridge On Taconic Parkway A Westchester County man who jumped to his death from the AMVETS Memorial Bridge off the Taconic State Parkway has been identified, according to the New York State Police. Xiaohu Liu, 53, of Briarcliff Manor was recovered by the Yorktown Heights Fire Department marine unit around 1 p.m. Sunday from the Croton Reservoir, said Trooper A.J.
