Man Charged With DUI After Fleeing Scene Of Crash, Wilton Police Say A local man was arrested for drunk driving after being involved in a car crash and then leaving the scene on foot, according to Wilton Pollice. The crash took place around 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, on Seely Road, Wilton Police said. A passerby reported the crash and when officers arrived on the scene there was no one in the vehicle. After a brief search of the area, police located Robert J. Polo, 54, of Wilton on Cannon Road walking toward Hurlbutt Street, police said. ID Released For Man Killed In Northern Westchester Crash A 63-year-old Westchester man killed during a single-vehicle crash on Route 116 has been identified. William S. Jackson of Mount Vernon was killed around 5:25 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Somers after losing control of his vehicle, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the New York State Police. An initial investigation suggests Jackson was driving a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on State Route 116 when he lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway via the north shoulder, struck a concrete wall, and then overturned, Hicks said. Stamford Man Faces Sexual Assault Charge In Greenwich A Fairfield County man faces sexual assault charges after being nabbed on a warrant. Jorge Delgado Hernandez, 30, of Stamford, was arrested Monday at the Greenwich Police Department after being advised he was wanted on a warrant for criminal attempt at sexual assault and unlawful restraint for an incident in Cos Cob in December, said the Greenwich Police. Hernandez is being held on $100,000 bail.

Eight Nabbed In Hudson Valley Child Sex Sting Eight people were nabbed during a child sex sting in which law enforcement and federal authorities posed as minor children online. Teen Driving Stolen Car Apprehended In Hudson Valley A 19-year-old teen was nabbed for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle following a Hudson Valley traffic stop. Shevon Anisca, 19, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 4, after Orange County deputies stopped his vehicle for a minor traffic infraction on Route 17 in Monroe, said Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Naugatuck Man, 60, Charged With Stalking 18-Year-Old A man arrested for following women in the past was nabbed by police for allegedly stalking an 18-year-old after she left a gas station. Teacher's Aide Indicted For Bringing Gun To School In Hudson Valley A 24-year-old teacher's aide who was arrested for bringing a gun in her purse to an area school has been indicted by a grand jury for felony possession of a weapon on school grounds. Gillian J. Jeffords of Warwick who was also indicted on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, was employed as a teacher's aide at the Rockland BOCES Jesse Kapan School in West Nyack, came to work on March 29, with a fully loaded gun in her purse, according to the Rockland County District Attorney's Office. Suspect At Large In Stabbing Death Of 16-Year-Old, State Police Say Police are on the hunt for a "person of interest" involved in the overnight murder of a 16-year-old boy. Enfield detectives, along with the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit, are investigating the stabbing death of Justin Brady, police said.
