ID Released For Man Killed After Falling Through Skylight Hole On Roof In Stamford A Stamford man who was killed after falling through a hole for a skylight while working on the roof of an area building has been identified. Jacek Pilchowski, 59, fell more than 30 feet onto a concrete floor while replacing skylights on the roof of the Stamford Windustrial Company, said Stamford Police Capt. Tom Barcello. Man Critically Injured After Being Struck By Lexus In Residential Neighborhood Of Bridgeport A man is clinging to life after being hit by a car in a residential neighborhood. Anthony Johnson, 31, of Bridgeport, was standing at 140 East Avenue in Bridgeport when he was struck by a black Lexus around 12:45 a.m. Friday, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. After being hit, the car carried Johnson a short distance and before he was dropped on the roadway, Harris said. The driver of the Lexus stopped and immediately called 911. Downed Tree Causes Power Outage In Tuxedo An outage that disrupted power to more than 200 customers in the Town of Tuxedo was caused by a tree coming down in the woods, according to Orange and Rockland Utilities. As of 9 a.m. Friday, power has been restored to all but four customers who should expect outages until at least noon.
