School Bus Crashes With Car In Westchester This story has been updated. Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a crash between a school bus and a car late Thursday afternoon in Westchester. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. at Olmsted Road and Brewster Road in Scarsdale, according to the Scarsdale Police. No injuries were reported. The fire department, as well as EMS, responded along with police officers, police said. Police did not know which school the bus serviced.

One Seriously Injured In Crash With Tractor-Trailer On I-95 The driver of a van received serious injuries after slamming into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped for construction on I-95 in Fairfield County, according to the Connecticut State Police. The crash took place around 1 a.m. Thursday on I-95 southbound in Westport, after the driver of the van, Robert Siedlinski, 41, of Bridgewater, Massachusets, hit a tractor-trailer that was stopped in the center lane due to construction taking place, while attempting to change lanes, said the state police. SUV Driver Charged With Felonies In Route 59 Crash That Injured Four An SUV driver who was involved in a three-vehicle crash that injured four has been charged with numerous felonies. Based on an investigation conducted by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau following the crash on Monday on Route 59 in Nanuet, Rohan Brijlall, 41, of the Bronx, was arrested Thursday, said Det. Peter Walker with the Clarkstown Police Department. According to Walker, Brijlall was the driver of the SUV that struck two stopped vehicles in the right lane of traffic. Suspect Who Fled After Fatal Poughkeepsie Social Club Shooting Surrenders To Police A 38-year-old man wanted for the murder of a City of Poughkeepsie resident has surrendered to police. Robert Whitaker of North Carolina turned himself in for the Jan. 27 shooting of a man in front of the Fireman's Exempt Social Club, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Det. Lt. Matt Clark. According to Clark, Noel McClinton, 35, was killed around 2:58 a.m. at the club at 200 Mansion St., when multiple shots were fired, striking him numerous times. Fire Breaks Out At House Overlooking Hudson River In Cortlandt A home with an expansive view of the Hudson River was damaged by a fire that started in the chimney chase, according to the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Department. The fire started around 12:10 a.m. Thursday at the home on Forest Avenue in Cortlandt, the department said. Upon arrival, firefighters found an active fire visible from the wood chimney chase on the exterior of the home. With fire showing, a first alarm was issued. Teacher's Aide Accused Of Exposing Himself To Students At Milford School A teacher's aide at the Boys & Girls Village has been put on unpaid leave after accusations surfaced that he had exposed himself and inappropriately touched female students The school, which works with special needs children in the Milford area, said the employee was immediately placed on unpaid leave after learning of the accusations. Lawsuit: Northern Westchester Man Suffered Brain Damage When Steel Rod Fell On Him At Costco A 62-year-old man who claims he suffered irreversible brain damage when a steel rod fell on him at a Brookfield Costco in 2016, has sued the wholesale chain. K9 Officer Helps Catch Teen Car-Theft Suspect On I-84 A State Police K9 helped troopers nab a suspected car thief after he helped track down the man as he ran following a pursuit that ended with his tires flattened by stop sticks.
