Stamford Motorist With Hazard Lights On For An Hour Under Influence, Greenwich PD Says A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI and driving without a license after police received a report of a car running with its hazards lights on for more than an hour.  Greenwich Police arrested Nehemias Yac of Stamford after responding to Mead Avenue around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, to check out the report. When they arrived on the scene, officers said they could smell alcohol coming from his breath and that he failed a series of field sobriety tests. Venomous Snake Found In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley resident wasn't sure what type of snake he stumbled upon that was close to his home earlier this month. Concerned the snake might be venomous and a danger to his family, the resident of Woodstock in Ulster County called the state Department of Environmental Conservation, the ECO reported. Pedro Miranda, 61, died in the hospice unit at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, said state Department of Corrections Spokesman Andrius Banevicius. Forbes, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, after New York State Police received a 911 call of an erratic driver on Noxon Road in the town of LaGrange, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
