Suspicious Vehicle In New Canaan Park Results In Drug Charge For Norwalk Man A Norwalk man was arrested for possession of drugs after the vehicle he was riding in was stopped for having a smashed windshield in New Canaan. Elvis Canahaul, 20, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 12, when the officer making the traffic stop on Old Norwalk Road smelled marijuana inside the vehicle, said the New Canaan Police.  A search of the vehicle found that Canahaul was in possession of marijuana. Another passenger, Fabian Vargas, 19, of Norwalk, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  All were released with a future court date.

Tyetianna Owens-Coles, of Jonesboro, Georgia, was arrested Wednesday for credit card theft, larceny, forgery, and illegal use of a credit card, that took place while she was working in New Canaan, police said. Teen Charged With Dwai After Driver, Passenger Trapped In Single-Vehicle Crash On Taconic An 18-year-old teen was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol following a crash that trapped both the driver and a passenger. The crash took place around 8:55 p.m. Thursday on the Taconic State Parkway in Pleasant Valley, said Trooper AJ Hicks with the New York State Police.
