The crash took place around 7:42 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 on the Interstate 395-Route 32 connector in Waterford, according to the Cohanzie Fire Company. Responding firefighters from Waterford’s Quaker Hill Fire Company and the Cohanzie Fire Company found an overturned horse trailer, perched over an embankment, with two horses onboard, when they arrived. The incident took place Friday when Brent Watson, 25, of the Bronx, walked into the Chase bank on Greenwich Avenue and attempted to first deposit and then cash the check, Greenwich Police said. ID Released For 68-Year-Old Killed In Hit-Run Bridgeport Crash Police have identified the driver who hit and killed a 68-year-old man and left the area of the crash. Michael Zrelak, hometown not known, was killed after he was hit by a car on Boston Avenue around 11 a.m. Friday, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. Later the same afternoon, Bridgeport police arrested Robert Dominguez, 25, of Shelton, and charged him with leaving the scene of a crash, evading responsibility and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
